Okay, so like a bunch of my indie rock peeps out there…..I’ve been rotating the new MGMT album today (new music tuesday)…and I’m..well…a bit confused. LOL. But in a good way…this happened to me in college when Supergrass dropped their second or third, after much acclaim. Gaz, Dan & Mickey ended up being one of my all time faves.
Anyhow, this first listen is a bit hard to stomach in the beginning..wild and all over the place. I mean..I had to dig up an interview just to be sure I can “pick up what they are puttin’ down”.
I bet in a week or so I’ll be back on their jocks, but we shall see, young lads…
