There’s not much else to say but they’re back and they sounded great! After an 11-year hiatus, the founders of the Mars Volta returned to their original incarnation. At The Drive In‘s Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala proved why they are one of the most influential acts of Post-Hardcore. The El Paso based group is in full swing of their reunion tour and have opened up about ATDI via their twitter account. We’re not sure if the same fans of their band the Mars Volta are totally down w/ the original act, but it’s nice to see these 2 geniuses creating havoc again in their orginal format. Although this is the full set from Coachella, take a peep. For those At The Drive In fans…enjoy!
